Question: Moving a pool table to recarpet underneath? (Posted by: Susie on 2010-02-21 07:01:07) I want to re carpet my family room but need to get the pool table from the family room into the hallway, about 10 feet away to remove and install carpet. Any suggestions would be appreciated, especially if this can be done on my own. Living in northern Detroit MI suburbs. |

Also as a last case scenerio, have a professional come in and dismantle the table and store it in the closet. |

Unscrew the table top from the base, lift and place the table on the boxes as sliders then slide it into the hall the base comes apart in 3 or 4 pieces.. Reassemble the table and let sit for a few days to crush the carpet before leveling. |
